Training and development is a life long journey at SRS. All employees at SRS complete Certificate III in Individualised Support as a minimum level qualification followed by the Certificate IV in Disability for aspiring Team Leaders and Managers.
In partnership with selected RTO’s the training ensures staff, known as Active Support Assistants (ASA) have up to date understanding and knowledge of legislation, standards and best practise techniques.
From time to time SRS accept Expressions of Interest from those looking to complete a Certificate IV or III in Disability Work – learning on the job with your training paid by SRS.
Traineeships will be offered to applicants that demonstrate an honest desire to help others and go the extra distance. The successful trainees will have a great sense of humour, be reliable and use their initiative to achieve goals. Trainees must be flexible; paid training shifts can vary and our business runs 24/7.
