Sunraysia Health & Fitness Challenge
2011 Winner - Phil Newey
The Sunraysia Health & Fitness Challenge for 2011 has now concluded, with fantastic results for all involved. The winner of this year’s challenge was Phil Newey of Bunnings Mildura Trade Centre, who lost 15.2 kilograms, and raised an exceptional $4,104.62 in the process.
Winners were calculated based on percentage of body weight lost, and amount of money raised. In terms of sheer weight loss, local identity Bill Sauer came out on top losing almost 24 kilograms, coming admirably close to reaching his ambitious goal of 30kg.
In total, the group of ten have shed a huge 132.8kg and raised over $25,000!
Our sincere thanks go out to everyone who donated to the event, in particular the Bunnings Mildura Trade Centre who made an outstanding contribution to this year's challenge.
